If there is any condition or surgery that requires a particular skill that is not available in Dar es Salaam, we will bring the specialist to you.
SANITAS has global partnerships with internationally renowned specialist clinics overseas and their super specialist surgeons will visit us here to perform your procedure. These surgeons will be bought to Dar es Salaam three times annually.
It is important to get a pre-surgical assessment by our own surgeons before we book in a surgery slot for you, to see what kind of surgery, specialist and the urgency of your condition. You can register your interest for our super specialist surgeries here, or call our friendly reception staff to make an appointment for surgical assessment.
On rare occasion there is a surgical requirement where the skill may be available here in Tanzania, or able to be bought in, but the medical equipment or specialist facilities are not available.
In these cases SANITAS has partnership with specialist facilities overseas where we can send our clients who are covered for such procedures by their insurance or our pre-paid medical care schemes.

SANITAS is proud to be associated with such an excellent facility and to be able to provide their excellent facilities to our clients who are provided for such coverage in their insurance or one of our pre-paid medical schemes.
In the event that one of our such clients cannot be treated in facilities here in Tanzania, SANITAS will send you to RAK Hospital where you will receive the best surgical care we can possibly provide for.
